Consider the fact that whether you operate tours in the region, manage accommodation or a restaurant, run day tours or excursions, you have the means to translate your content to present travellers either with itineraries or iBrochures in the language they understand best. That’s what modern travellers expect.
Putting the word en la calle This year we began collaborating with a Mexican digital and print magazine, Viajero by Food & Travel, read by travellers and used by the travel trade across the continent. We produced these full page advertisements to build brand awareness.
Que más? We’re taking the collaboration further by producing sample digital itineraries for the 48 Horas City Breaks of their Food & Travel issue. So far we’ve presented short trips to Lima, Lindau and Valencia, hoping to showcase much more of Latin America in the same way in the year ahead, to bring the brand of Wetu to the desks and laptops of operators, DMCs, travel agents, marketers and travel suppliers. The message is simple: we have a system and some amazing tools to help promote tourism in the region; and we’re at the point now where our capacity to share the benefits is growing sustainably.
It’s about giving travellers what they want: a visually rich virtual representation of their dream destinations and experiences in Latin America.
