Live Availability

November 20th, 2012 | Posted by Paul in Itinerary Builder | New Features - (Comments Off)

Wetu has embedded Live Availability into the Itinerary Builder to assist the consultants when building an itinerary for a client.

The consultant can now confidently include a property in an itinerary knowing that they are availability without having to contact the accommodation. This allow the consultant to produce itineraries more efficiently.

Wetu will display the following availability status

  • - Available
  • - Unknown – this is when the property does not have online availability
  • - Not Available

At present Wetu is receiving live availability from Nightsbridge and eRes and will look to include systems in due course.

Itinerary App for Tour Operators & their Agents

September 26th, 2012 | Posted by Paul in Itinerary App | Itinerary Builder | New Features - (Comments Off)

Wetu is proud to announce the release of the Wetu Itinerary App for iPhone and iPads, now any tour operator using the Wetu Itinerary Builder can produce an Itinerary App for their clients (or agents’ client) with their personalised travel docs in their iPhone, it’s like TripIT for tour operators.

Once the iPhone App has received feedback from tour operators Wetu will roll out the App for other operating systems.  The App also works on iPads.

TEST the Itinerary App

  1. Go to the App Store and Download the Free App
  2. Input this password – ON6H1V  (each client gets a personal code)
  3. Give us Feedback so we can improve it

Over the last few months we have been busy improving the Wetu system and developed many new features. These changes are primarily due to requests and ideas from you. We felt it important to provide you with feedback.

THE BIG CHANGES

REVIEW PAGE
Once you have built an Itinerary you are able to input and fine tune the details of the itinerary on the Review Page. This is very useful for those that will be producing Paper Itineraries or providing your client with the Itinerary App (coming very soon) View here for more

CONTENT API
You no longer need to spend your time collecting and updating your supplier content as Wetu is supplying you with a Content API that will allow you to access the latest rich content (images, videos, virtual tours, etc) as well as the in-depth information products (room info, facilities, etc) – see blog

CONTENT CUSTOMISATION
Descriptions of products and destinations can be customised by tour operators so you are able to put your personal insight into these descriptions. These will be displayed in the Virtual Itinerary, Paper Itinerary, Itinerary App and any place the information is displayed by Wetu. For more info view here.

Review Page for the Itinerary Builder

August 18th, 2012 | Posted by Paul in Itinerary Builder | New Features - (Comments Off)

Now the the Itinerary Builder is being used to produce Paper Itineraries (and very soon the Itinerary App) far more information is required to be captured. We have provided a Review Screen that will allow you to add this in-depth detail in one place instead of having to move from screen to screen. (see below)

The Itinerary Builder should now allow you to enter all the information that you need to supply your client before travelling (dates, times, voucher and ticket numbers, etc) and the best place to capture this level of detail is the Review Page.

Please play with it, let us know if you have any problems and provide the necessary feedback so we can improve the system.

A Paper Itinerary supplied by the travel industry is a great way of providing information but it is a poor sales tool.

Wetu has developed technology that allows you to convert your paper itineraries to interactive, content rich itineraries that engages your clients.
