Friday, 30 November, Team Wetu went festive. We’re not afraid of a good party (and clearly not camera shy).

Hosted at The Vue atop the Capital Mirage in Cape Town CBD, we were blessed with gorgeous food (and drink) to complement the gorgeous weather, the gorgeous view from The Vue, and if I may be so bold, some rather gorgeous Wetu people.

Our war cry, as uttered by our resident visionary and fierce leader, CEO Paul, was inspired by this Walter D. Wintle poem. Read it, internalise (weep if you will), and be empowered! Have a fabulous, safe year-end and festive season. With love, from Wetu💞

If you think you are beaten, you are.

If you think you dare not, you don’t.

If you like to win, but think you can’t,

it’s a cinch you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost.

For out of the world we find

success begins with a fellow’s will.

It’s all in a state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are.

You’ve got to think high to rise.

You’ve got to be sure of yourself before

You can ever win a prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go

To the stronger or faster man.

But sooner or later the man who wins

Is the man who thinks he can.
